aramexConnect - Getting started

How do I import my address book?

The first step to importing your address book into aramexConnect is to create an import definition. If you haven’t done this yet, please refer to article 'How do I create an import definition?'

Once the import definition has been created, navigate to the Administration tab, select Address Book and click the Import button

Next, select the File Definition from the drop down and either browse for your file or drag and drop the file into the upload box.

When the file has been loaded into aramexConnect, the status will update.

A tick in the status field means this has uploaded correctly. Simply select the file name and then Save All.

If there is an error icon in the status field, this means one or more fields requires attention. Select the file for a line-by-line view to identify the information that requires amending.

To update the field requiring attention, select Details and update the field then select Retry & Close.

If the error is resolved, the row will now show a tick next to the status.  If the error remains you will need to follow these steps again and add a valid value.

Once all entries are saved, you will be able to view them in the Address Book tab and they will be available for you to consign to using the Search Contact function on the Send tab.
